The Vision...

           As actors, many of us feel most satisfied when we are growing and evolving: when we feel our artistic capacities expanding, see our business flourishing beyond imagination, and our very self bursting forth in its most authentic and unique form.  As long as we are inching in that direction - we feel right in the world.

          There is a kind of spirituality in it - in living our potential, giving our gifts to ever wider audiences, and surprising even ourselves with a genius we can hardly claim credit for. Yet, rarely are we able to access, let alone sustain, such momentum. We all sense such actualization as a birthright or an innate possibility... and we long for it.

            An overtly spiritual approach can be an indispensable tool to unlocking our greatest capacities. One definition of spirituality is to awaken and sustain the essential evolving nature of our Being; we are built to be part of a much larger evolution - in every way.
         
           But sadly, while there are many art forms that have a tradition of spiritual intent and method, and while there have been many intrepid explorations into the spiritual dimensions of an actor's process - in large part, mainstream actor training leaves actors woefully ill equipped and left to sort spiritual process out for themselves - if at all.

         The vision of this work is to create a community of exploration and innovation intent on providing actors with practical techniques that are technically integrative, spiritually effective, creatively emergent, and deeply fulfilling.
