ANTERO ALLI

In July 2023, I did this dialogue with mentor and friend Antero Alli - focusing on the most fruitful and relatively recent development in his paratheatre work: a dialogue with the Archetype of the Muses. We cover the five levels of of difficulty in doing Paratheatrical work outlined in his recent books (the fifth of which is Muse relations) and explore how each level of difficulty contains keys to eventually advancing to a fruitful relationship with the muses. In December 2013, I interviewed Antero Alli about his paratheatrical work. Overall I spent 5 years doing paratheatrical work and shooting films with Antero in Berkeley, CA. This interview was about 3/4 of the way through that period, I believe. I was acting at the B-Street Theatre, working on my PhD exploring the spiritual capacities of professional actors, and doing paratheatre with Antero at the time. Enjoy.
